It’s Fall... What Happened to Summer?

Seriously, what happened to summer? I feel like I was just packing up signs for summer markets, enjoying long days and warm weather, and suddenly the mornings are cooler, the days are getting shorter, and somehow we’re talking about fall.

Now that I’m officially switching into fall mode, I’m looking forward to cooler weather, creating some new signs, and making a few changes around Bend Crafters Company.

Part of that means retiring a couple of signs and making room for some new designs. But don’t worry, I’m not completely losing my mind. The favorites aren’t going anywhere.

Adventuring Together signs with your favorite recreational icons will definitely be sticking around. I love seeing the different combinations people choose because every one tells a slightly different story about how they enjoy the outdoors.

A few other favorites staying in the lineup include Metolius River, Welcome to the Garden, and Welcome to the Cabin. These have become some of those signs that just seem to find the right home.

And then there are the recreational icons.

Apparently, we humans cannot get enough of Bigfoot, and honestly, neither can I. Everything Bigfoot continues to be a favorite, along with the Alien, two hikers, and solo hiker. They’ve become such a fun part of what I make, and I have a feeling Bigfoot will be hanging around Bend Crafters Company for a very long time.

Fall also means I get to start playing around with new ideas and designs. Some will make the cut, some probably won’t, and a few may turn into something completely different than what I originally had in mind. That’s part of the fun of making these signs.

So goodbye summer. You went by ridiculously fast.
